Schönramer Gold is a strong and deceptively potent beer. Even after just half a litre, its effects can linger longer than you might expect. As a Fest-Märzen style beer, it deserves a little caution, as that extra 0.7% alcohol makes more of a difference than you might think. Our Gold pours a rich golden-yellow colour, with a distinctive aroma of chestnut honey. The first sip is wonderfully full-bodied, with flavours of freshly baked white bread, followed by a smooth honey-like sweetness and a delicate hop bitterness on the finish. Schönramer Gold strikes the perfect balance between hops and malt and is served naturally hazy on draught.
